As a Assistant Principal CE-1710-6, your typical work assignments may include the following:
Will be assigned responsibilities for coordination and supervision of complete sections of the school organization and will assume the duties of the Principal during the Principal's absence or at other times as instructed. Develop and administer a quality education program consistent with Federal, State and Tribal regulations. Assist in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation of existing academic programs for the purpose of improvement of student achievement. Assess student performance. Is knowledgeable of all academic and non-academic programs that affect the student body. Directs the utilization of community resources within the curriculum. Works closely with Federal, State and Agency personnel and others to develop a more continuous program of instruction. Assume the leadership in meeting the requirements to become/remain accredited by the North Central and State Accreditation Association. Who May Apply:

Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements contained in the approved job category for P.L. 95-561 described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Experience:
To qualify, applicants must posses one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level CY-05.Specialized Experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be qualified, you must have three (3) years experience in school administration, teaching, counseling or other professional education experience. A maximum of two (2) years teaching or counseling experience is creditable toward meeting the full qualification requirement. Education Requirement:
A Master's, EDS, or Doctorate's degree in Education Administration, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 20 semester hours of graduate credit in School Administration, Curriculum Development, and Supervision of Instruction (or similar supervision related course work). The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
